Elizabeth Crowell LICSW
If you’re taking the time to search for a therapist, I’d like to applaud you for taking the first step. I’m so happy you’re here! As a neurodivergent and anxious individual, I’ve been on both sides of the room. By blending my lived and professional experiences, I offer an empathetic and relational approach to therapy. My favorite part of being a therapist is when you and I begin to piece together what works for YOU.
I strive to provide a safe space for adults and teens who are navigating anxiety, exploring their identity, and wanting tools to build meaningful and fulfilling connections. I have personal and professional experiences in the LGBTQIA+ community. In addition, I have a special interest in working with adults who were diagnosed with ADHD later in life.
When working with couples, I aim to support partners who want to strengthen communication and deepen their connection. Together, we explore patterns, uncover what’s getting in the way, and create new ways of relating that foster closeness and understanding of one another’s experiences.
I graduated from Rhode Island College with my Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work with a clinical concentration. Currently, I am attending the University of Pennsylvania where I am completing my Doctorate in Clinical Social Work.
Beyond the therapy room, I can be found sitting outside on a rainy day, watching the latest horror film, or playing board games with my partner. I may also be waiting (im)patiently for the next Taylor Swift album release.
What can you expect in our work together? I’m glad you asked! Click the link below to learn more about the process and my approach.
